Your First Appointment

We strongly suggest that you bring any relevant reports, imaging, x-rays and doctor’s referral (if applicable). A physical assessment will be carried out. You may be required to remove some clothing so we conduct a proper assessment and provide treatment, so please wear underwear that you will be comfortable with.

Together, patient and practitioner will establish a treatment plan to best manage your complaint including relevant lifestyle changes, exercises, number of visits required and/or referral to other Allied Health Professionals or Specialists.

Can Medicare help me with costs?

Medicare offer the Chronic Disease Management Plan which funds up to 5 visits per year. You need to discuss with your General Practitioner whether you qualify for this scheme. We need a written referral from your Doctor for you to be able to access the Medicare program.

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine that recognizes the important link between the structures of the body and the way it functions. Osteopaths use their hands to treat working through muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons to increase mobility and restore balance in the body. There is a vast variety of techniques that can be used from more direct manipulations to gentle indirect treatments such as cranial sacral therapy.

You can claim your Private Health Benefit on the spot using our HICAPS system. Your cover may vary depending on your fund and/ or level of membership and if you have Physiotherapy or Osteopathy as part of your extras. Contact your Private Health Cover Provider if you need clarification.

Renata Asinelli

Physiotherapist

Renata Asinelli graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapist in 2001. Her passion for travelling and experiencing different cultures lead her around the world. She lived in the Amazon for 18 months helping to establish the first Physiotherapy Clinic on the border of Colombia and Venezuela. Renata has been practicing in Australia for 13 years - the last 10 years in a private practice in Nerang, Gold Coast. In 2008 after experiencing her first pregnancy and its changes to the female body, she developed a special interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy. She also has extensive training in Clinical Pilates. Recently Renata became involved with the PINC Cancer Rehabilitation Program. Health and Well being are an important part of her life with exercise taking part of her everyday routine.

Pablo Nacarato

Osteopath and Exercise Scientist

Pablo has been passionate about exercise and the human body mechanics from a young age. In his teens, he competed in trampoline gymnastics and then developed a love of surfing and martial arts. He completed his Bachelor of Physical Education in Brazil in 2001 and came to Australia in the same year. He has undertaken further education within the Exercise Industry here in and has worked as an Exercise professional at Fenix gym, Camp Eden Health Retreat in Currumbin, CHEK Australia and at his own home personal training studio. Six years ago the passion for hands on treatments in a more holistic way motivated him to return to University and pursuing a career as an Osteopath. Pablo completed Master of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016 and is very excited about combining his years of experience in the exercise industry with the knowledge acquired through his degree to assist patients achieve their optimal health again.

Lucy Crawford

Massage Therapist

Lucy has worked in the fitness and health industry for over 10 years. After completing a certificate 3 & 4 in fitness she went on to work in group fitness and with one-on-one clients. This motivated her to further her knowledge on the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Once she completed her diploma in remedial massage she worked alongside and osteopath for 2 years. Lucy then switched to a more independent role at Recovery Massage Centre on the gold coast treating a variety of different clients with varying issues. Lucy has an active lifestyle and loves hiking in nature and Brazilian jiujitsu, which she has been practicing for the past 7 years. Lucy has over 6 years of experience in the remedial massage industry and has a passion for helping her clients through a wide range of issues. Through the assessment of each client Lucy will put together a personalised treatment plan for the individual. Weather its pain relief, stress, injury or just maintenance, Lucy is well equipped to help. Her style is deep tissue/sports massage. She uses many different techniques such as muscle energy technique, myofascial release, dry needling, and stretching to help her clients see results.

Daniel Trevisan

Osteopath

Daniel graduated from Victoria University, with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Masters of Health Science in Osteopathy. Daniel has a range of experience treating acute and chronic pain across both Brisbane and Melbourne. His expertise in managing diverse pain conditions has allowed him to treat both acute and chronic pain effectively. Daniel has had the opportunity to work closely with athletes as part of his role in several football, soccer and sporting clubs. This has deepened his understanding of sports-related injuries and implement targeted treatment plans that cater specifically to the needs of athletes. Through his comprehensive approach, Daniel has helped athletes recover from injuries and regain optimal performance levels. His holistic approach emphasises personalised care, considering the individual's overall well-being and focusing on restoring functionality and improving quality of life. Daniel's experience extends to developing tailored treatment strategies that address the root causes of pain and promote long-term healing. Outside of his professional endeavours, Daniel finds immense joy in immersing himself in the world of sports, travelling, indulging in culinary adventures, and cherishing the company of his beloved family and friends.
